3M Scotch-Grip™ 4291 is a pre-applied, touch-dry adhesive seal that supplies a good sealing hold.
During the coupling of the threading parts, the matching tolerances are eliminated and a seal is formed among parts.
The coating applied to the thread parts speed up the component assemblage procedures because it substitutes all types of manually applied seals.
After assemblage 3M Scotch-Grip™ 4291 is entirely water and oil-resistant and airtight proof.
3M Scotch-Grip™ 4291 consists in applying sealing film to a specific area of the screw tap.
3M Scotch-Grip™ 4291 can be applied to all types of ferrous and non-ferrous (stainless steel, brass, aluminium and its alloys, many plastic products) threads (screws, pins, plugs, studs, bushes, dowels, safety valves, etc.).
