The hexagonal threaded inserts are divided into hexagonal round head threaded inserts and reduced head all with M3 to M12 threading in galvanised steel.
The threaded inserts:
- can be installed by means of a pneumatic riveting machine for threaded inserts even in very thin sheet thicknesses, where they allow for the rapid creation of a high-strength thread without the need for tapping tools.
- are an advantageous and economical solution.

There are two main types of hexagonal blind rivet nuts:
