LACQUER GROOVE THREADED STUDS FOR CAPACITOR DISCHARGE WELDING

The lacquer groove threaded studs for capacitor discharge welding is applied on clean and thin sheets, the weld penetration is only 0.1mm, after welding there is no sign of thermal or mechanical deformation on the surface view of the welded object, it allows to obtain a resistant fixing and a watertight fixing maintaining an excellent aesthetic result after welding.

The heads of the lacquer groove threaded studs are made according to EN ISO 13918, their diameter is bigger than the external diameter of the stud.

During the discharge welding of capacitors, they prevent the electric arc from invading the cylindrical part of the lacquer groove threaded studs to weld, simultaneously increasing the welding surface.

A.T.S. supplies the lacquer groove threaded studs for capacitor discharge welding in the following materials: lacquer groove threaded studs for copper-coated steel 4.8, colour groove threaded studs PT-A type stainless steel A2-50.
