The PD-type drawn arc welding stud complete with ferrule ceramic is a partially threaded stud with the same mechanical characteristics as the arc-welded MPF type stud, but its thread stops much farther from the welding section.
The PD-type arc welding pin is available with thread starting from M6 up to M24.
Through the use of the drawn arc welding machine, the PD-type arc welding pin is welded in a long arc with a ceramic ferrule or welded in gas protection with appropriate limitations.
The production of the PD type arc-welded stud is carried out using the 4.8 iron, PD stainless A2-50 type threaded arch pivot and arc welding stud type PD 1.4571.
