LINEAR SPOT AND PROJECTION WELDERS

MAXIMUM PRECISION AND RELIABILITY FOR HIGH-PERFORMANCE RESISTANCE WELDING

When production requires reliable resistance welding, selecting the right machine involves more than simply assessing welding power. Material type, sheet thickness, component geometry, weld location and production volume all influence the most suitable equipment. The TECNA range of straight-column resistance welding machines supplied by ATS Lamberti covers spot and projection welding applications, with single-phase, three-phase DC and medium-frequency configurations available for different manufacturing requirements.

The straight-column design provides direct access to the welding area and supports practical workpiece positioning during repetitive operations. Depending on the application, TECNA straight-column spot and projection welders are available in different configurations, allowing the equipment to be matched to the characteristics of the components and the required welding cycle. Medium-frequency and inverter solutions are also available where greater control of welding parameters and process stability is required.

Consistent results in resistance spot and projection welding depend on accurate control of the welding cycle. Three-phase DC and inverter configurations allow welding current and time to be managed precisely, helping maintain repeatable weld conditions and consistent joint quality. Machine selection therefore needs to consider the material and thickness being joined, the type of weld required, component geometry and the production conditions in which the equipment will operate.

ATS Lamberti supplies TECNA resistance welding machines and supports customers in selecting the most suitable solution for their application. Technical advice takes into account materials, thicknesses, component geometry, production volumes and process requirements in order to identify the appropriate machine configuration. ATS combines equipment supply with technical consultancy, application support, assistance and after-sales service, providing customers with a technical partner throughout the selection and use of their resistance welding equipment.
