Duofix – Battery-powered capacitor discharge welding machine for studs on heat distributors A.T.S. presents Duofix: the battery-powered capacitor discharge welder for studs in heat distributors.A.T.S. is proud to launch Duofix, the new battery-powered welding machine with capacitor discharge (CD) technology, designed specifically for welding pins in heat distributors. This innovative device was created to meet the needs of installers and technicians working in the field, offering a professional, efficient and completely portable solution.Thanks to its compact and lightweight design (only 4.6 kg), Duofix is perfect for mobile operations on construction sites or in residential buildings. The high-performance battery allows up to 300 consecutive double welds, extendable to 500 in the optional version. The system is optimised to ensure maximum precision: the welding gun is equipped with an integrated laser pointer for perfect alignment of the pins (typically M3), while an LCD display allows real-time monitoring of the welding parameters, improving the reliability and quality of the operation.The capacitor discharge technology used by Duofix allows for fast, clean and safe welding, ideal for materials such as steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The machine is capable of performing up to 2 double welds per minute, with an adjustable distance between pins from 19 to 63 mm. It also comes with a convenient carrying bag, which facilitates handling and use in any operating environment.Duofix is thus establishing itself as a cutting-edge solution for fixing pins in heat metering systems, a sector in which precision, speed and reliability are essential. With this new welding machine, A.T.S. confirms its commitment to developing technologies that promote energy efficiency and quality of work.
