One of the key features of KEENSERTS inserts (ATSKN) is the simplicity and practicality of their installation process. They do not require complex tools and can be installed quickly using standard equipment: drilling with a standard drill bit, tapping the hole, and inserting the insert with the appropriate installation tool. Finally, the locking kees are driven into the surrounding material, mechanically securing the insert for a strong and reliable hold.

These keyed inserts are designed to resist torsion and vibrations, reducing the risk of loosening or rotation. Their durability is ensured by their AISI 303 stainless steel (1.4305) construction, offering corrosion resistance, long-lasting performance, and reliability even in critical operating conditions.
