The self-clinch fasteners are used as a fastening method for fast and simple assembly sheets and are able to guarantee a strong seal.
These are, in particular, self-clinch nuts, self-clinch threaded studs, self-clinch standoffs or self-clinch clip-on standoffs.
At A.T.S. it is possible to purchase various types of self-clinch nuts, or fastening systems used mainly for industrial fastening, for thin sheet metal and precision electronic equipment.
Made of galvanized steel, stainless steel and A4 stainless steel, the self-locking nuts are characterized by knurled flange and groove, in order to fully resist the torsion process.
As for the self-clinch threaded studs, also known as self-clinch pins, they are available in galvanized steel, stainless steel and A4 stainless steel, or aluminum.
These systems allow a very quick connection thanks to their knurled flange inserted in the underhead, which once pressed will be flush with the sheet metal.
The self-clinch pins allow the creation of threads on thin sheets.
If required, we are also able to supply threaded studs suitable for thin thicknesses, with reduced head and therefore designed to be fixed to the sheet edge, or smooth without thread.
The self-fastening standoffs constitute fast coupling systems which, thanks to the permanent mounting on the sheet, allow to obtain specific distances between the spaced panels.
The self-clinch standoffs are supplied in galvanized steel, stainless steel and A4 stainless steel, and can have a through or blind thread.
