THREADED STUD TYPE PT FOR CAPACITOR DISCHARGE WELDING

Capacitor discharge type PT welding studs EN ISO 13918,enable the use of capacitor-discharge welding to achieve a strong and watertight fastening while maintaining an excellent aesthetic result after welding.
The threaded studs for capacitor discharge welding have a Welding Pip with a defined length and diameter underneath the flange. The Welding Pip determines the duration of the welding time, therefore the exact size of this is decisive for a good welding result.
A.T.S. supplies capacitor discharge welding studs made of the following materials: PT-type threaded capacitor discharge welding studs made of steel 4. 8 according to DIN EN ISO 898-1, provided with an electrolytic copper plated protection according to DIN EN ISO 4042; capacitor discharge weld studs stainless steel A2-50 according to DIN EN ISO 3506-1 and capacitor discharge weld studs stainless steel 316; capacitor discharge weld studs type PT threaded studs aluminium AlMg3 ISO 13918 and capacitor discharge weld studs brass CuZn37.
All weld studs supplied by A.T.S. correspond to the material specifications and comply with DIN EN ISO 13918 and DIN EN ISO 14555.
